Daily Camper Saga: Part 2

Satori Harold Exclusive

The next two days passed quickly for Harold. Monday he managed to find his classes and had fun. Swimming was wonderful in the hot weather, and afterward he was looking forward to Capture the Flag. Dinner wasn't bad, and not soon enough it was time for the evening activity. Harold was on the blue-green team, who got red flags. Even thought he spent most of the time in jail, the red team won both games thanks to most of the other players. All too soon it was time for bed again, and this time they were all in bed with their lights out promtly at 11:00. Of course they always followed the rules by the minute and were soon asleep.

Morning again, and Harold woke up. The early morning breeze felt great after a hot night in the brick dorms. He showered and made his way down to breakfast, which was better this morning. His classes were fun, but he couldn't wait to go swimming. Jumping into the cool water from the high dive was invigorating, but again it was time, all too soon, to head off to dinner. He ate and talked with his new friends, then headed back to the dorm. Upstairs, on the guy's floor, some people were playing their guitars, while others sat around the couches and played quarters. For some reason Harold couldn't sit still. So he was walking out to the elevators, and as he was going he tripped. Not many people saw, but those who did laughed, and so did Harold. Finally it was time for "Mystery" Night.

Of course, nobody knew what the planned activity was, but everybody as ready to do their skits. They divded up into teams and made skits using their given props. Harold had tons of fun, and hoped his acting hadn't been too horrible. Heading up to the 5th floor again, and after the elevator stopping on every floor on the way, Harold heard that a jam session was going. So for the rest of the night he listened to the guitars and piano, until they were finally made to go to bed. As Harold lay awake after lights out he began to think. This was way more fun than he'd thought. But still, he did miss some people at home . . .
