Find Bob a Friend Campaign member Steve
Porter held a half hour long inanimate protest against Bob’s
lack of friends in Louise Anderson Hall.
Kaille Kirkham, a FBAC founder, wrote in
a statement that the group is “dedicated to eliminating the
loneliness that is poor Bob’s life.” Bob is Satori’s plastic-fern
mascot.
Porter held the one-man protest Wednesday
night, saying “I will not move until Bob has a new friend.”
Other campers, without apparent reason, sat on Porter, poked
him with a stick, and tried to steal his shoes and sunglasses.
Sam Tupper said, “Bob does not exist, this man has multiple
personalities, and I’m just trying to help him cope.”
Later, a mob appeared, a member of which
suggested duck-taping Tupper to Bob. Porter later reanimated
and put Tupper in a trash can.
