A Letter to The Harold
To The Harold:
First I would like to thank the wonderful
Harold Staff for the service they provide us. I also owe them
my gratitude for placing my silly pranks on the front page.
That very article is the reason for this letter.
What I did on Sunday night was referred to
as “acts of vandalism.” Unfortunately I can’t accept that compliment
because of the implications. The word vandalism has a certain
stigma attached to it that implies gang activity.
Gangs as we all know are violent and organized.
No people were physically hurt or injured as a result of what
my partner and I did. Any suggestion of organization is also
inaccurate. There was no method to our madness.
As for this masked accomplice, it was one
of my roommates, Brennan Chambers. For those who don’t know
him, he is devilishly handsome.
I would like to confess to the graffiti I
am responsible for. I wrote J-POP, NYC SUX, a love note to Michaela
Alden, and I commented on how attractive Brennan, Andrew Bodenstein,
and I are.
Thank you Julia, Brennan, and Andrew for
playing my silly game and accepting my apology. To everyone
else thank you for reading and I’m sorry if I offended you.
I invite all of you to talk about my actions with me if you
have a problem with them.
Yours Truly,
Cooper Henderson
