Greeted by the ominous “This is our house,
don’t burn it down,” sign, the breakfast cooking class got to
work. It was not all fun and food though; there was much of
the cleaning and scrubbing of vegetables. As Jeri Kopet said
of the morning meal at the PUB, “The breakfast here is sub par.”
After PUB’s mysterious sausage, the idea of making crepes, roast
potatoes, eggs Benedict, and even doughnuts is enough to make
anyone jealous. Is the class excited? “Heck yes!” exclaimed
Julia Goldberg. Jeri and Julia even offered to bring anyone
food—for a price. “I like monetary bribes best,” said Jeri,
looking devious.
