Sadly, Satori North Summer Camp is still only a dream.

The original Satori Camp is quite active, however,
and you can access information on it at www.satoricamp.org.

Should you be interested in the possibility of Satori coming to British Columbia, please email chris@satoricamp.org.

The History of Satori Camp

Twenty-two years ago, an experiment took place on the Eastern Washington University campus (near Spokane, WA, USA). First held in 1984, Satori Camp was designed as a residential camp for academically talented and gifted junior and senior high school students. The first camp began with campers primarily from the Eastern Washington area, and had twenty students. Since then campers have come from all over the United States and the World. Satori has alumni from as far away as Florida, Alaska, Japan, and Poland to name a few. The camp has grown to an enrolment of approx. 100 and expanded to offer over twenty-five different courses.
